About Jenny...

Alabama resident Jenny is a self-taught portrait artist who specializes in using graphite and charcoal but is not limited to these mediums.

For more than ten years, Jenny has exhibited her work and accepted commissions from local enthusiasts.

Jenny’s work is known for its intense nature as she challenges the viewer to look deeper.  The craftsmanship she possesses captures the very detail of each subject, whether it be an adult or child portrait, a favorite pet or a beautiful home or business.

Her capacity to see the true essence of her subject allows her the ability to transfer that vision into realistic detail to her art.  Jenny's conscious use of skill and creative imagination has allowed her to succeed in her craft and excel in a medium in which so many other talented people have walked.

Jenny is a member of The American Portrait Society and the Vestavia Art Association.

More about why Jenny's Pet Portraits are so special...

The portrait to the left is Chessy (GA).  Chessy was the reason I started to do pet portraits as it was a way to capture her beauty and keep it with us, long after she left us for the Bridge.

In Chessy's memory we donate $20.00 from the purchase of each portrait to IMOM.  Chessy's sister Boo is a sugarcat which is how we got involved in the feline diabetes communities online (some of my best portraits are sugarcats!).
